Saturday 28th February saw 17 teams from various regions take part in this open doubles event, on a chilly last day of the month.

Play comprised leagues in the morning, and knockout in the afternoon, gold and silver competitions with consolages.

Each league had the choice of playing on two pistes; one under the canopy and one outside, with a reserve canopy piste available in case of wet weather. Fortunately, all went to plan and the reserve pistes were not needed! League games were timed at 50 minutes plus one end. Knockout games were not timed.

Play started at 09:30 and the last final was completed just after 4pm.
