Sunday 12th October – On what was a bright early autumn day, with plenty of sunshine in the afternoon, only 6 teams registered for the Kent League Handicap competition. A very disappointing number.
As is usual, the Kent League supplemented cash prizes, with bottles of wine for the individual players on the day. The full cash prize fund was £120 which consisted of the total money collected on the day and will be paid directly to the clubs of the winners at the AGM in November. Additionally 18 bottles of wine were distributed on the day to all the competitors.
Every team enjoyed 5 games in a round robin format, and from a 10am start time, the entire competition was complete by around 3:30pm. Thanks to all those who attended. The full list of winners is as below:
