The over 60’s competition held at Hartley on 22nd an open event was very well attended with 34 players playing in 17 doubles teams. Weather was dry and mild for the time of year. The format of the day was 2 timed games of 45 minutes in the morning followed by an hour for lunch. This was followed at once after lunch by the popular 10 minute Jack throwing competition, this month to win a festive non-alcoholic beverage and a chocolate Santa.Then 2 timed games of 45 minutes the final game having the jack replaced with a Brussel sprout. The day started at 10.10 am and finished including presentation of prizes by 3. 15pm. Seasonal music played throughout the day.

One pack of seasonal Vegetables to positions 13 to 17.
