Hartley Pétanque Club are sad to report the passing of Brian Ferres, a friend and long time loyal member of the Hartley Club. A quiet spoken gent with a rounded sense of humour, he will be remembered with affection.
Also, sadly at a time when the Hartley Club record with fond memories the loss of Mick Weston of Lordswood Pétanque Club, a well respected and founder member of the Lordswood Club, remembered from a time long ago, when he befriended and influenced the founding principles of the Hartley Club.
