15 teams gathered to contest the fourth and final Kent qualifying event of 2026. The prize for the overall top 12 teams being a chance to wear the famous Kent red and represent the region at the Inter Regional Championships at Weston-super-Mare in September.
The day was won by Geoff Booth, Rob Booth & Russell Brewis with a victory over Peter Clarke, Gary Clarke & Neil Phillips in the final. The win also propelled Team Booth to finish at the top of the overall rankings, narrowly pipping Becky Edwins, Tim Edwins, Richard Ruddick & Steve Brown by just 2 ranking points!
There was more drama further down the positions, as two teams ended up tied for 8th place, which is the last place in the Championship squad. Teams finishing 9th-12th play in the Challenge squad. An 8th placed playoff had to be played between Sam Boyce, Max Boyce, Duncan Brown & Greg Davenport and David Mowl, John West & Vaso Toke, with the latter winning a tight affair 13-9 to seal their Championship place.
