Nine players turned out on what was a chilly evening Friday evening to have a go at the “tir de precision” shooting event. Clubs represented were GRFC, Bat & Ball, Crockenhill & White House. Held on 31st May at the Railway Inn, all nine players completed the event to get their scores. The top four scores then went through to the semi finals, with 1st playing 4th and 2nd versus 3rd. The semi finals and final were head to head shooting, with players taking turns on the shooting mat.

In the end, Barry Soilleux from the White House PC proved too consistent, and won the title with an 18-4 victory in the final against Crockenhill’s Jeff Mack.
