Six teams turned out to contest the Kent triples championship on a sunny Sunday at Lordswood PC. Clubs represented were Meadow, Railway, Bat & Ball, Sidcup, GRFC & Lordswood.

The format was a round robin with everyone playing each other once. The title was won by Dean Ashby, Rowland Jones & Jason White, with an impressive clean sweep of 5 wins out of 5. Comfortable wins of 13-0, 13-1, 13-2 & 13-3 were backed up by a 13-9 win against title rivals Aston Monk, Kai Sheffield & Alex Spillett.

Team Spillett ended with 4 wins out of 5 to claim the runners up spot in the PE Champion of Champions event after a nail biting 13-12 win in the final match against Keith Atkinson, Geoff Booth & Trevor Gordon, who finished third. The top three teams all won cash prizes thanks to Kent boosting the prize fund by 30%.
