Ladies in Kent are invited by Keith James, who runs Maldon PC in Essex, to take part in an exhibition match to promote the sport, how it is played, and the skills of the game. The Essex club’s 6 piste terrain is located in the heart of a riverside park and the council wants to see more of the game before deciding whether to invest in more pistes. Eastern and Suffolk Coastal regions have agreed to play and Kent have been invited to send 2 triples teams of up to 4 players in each team.
The event will place on Sunday 18th May, which does clash with the Home Nations Qualifier in Leicester. It is, however, a great opportunity to play at a different venue, represent Kent and showcase the skill and enjoyment of the game.
If you would like to be involved in the event please contact Tim Edwins (07515 381171 – tim.edwins@icloud.com) by Wednesday 2nd April.
